Before we begin a graphic design project together, it’s important to make sure we’re aligned on goals, timeline and budget to set a strong foundation for success. I’m passionate about partnering with clients who are making a positive impact—nurturing their communities, the soil or the health of their customers. 

If your approach leans into conventional methods that prioritize cost over quality—like highly processed ingredients or artificial additives—we might not be the best fit. My heart is with people who create food I’d proudly share with my own family!

We’ll explore your needs and dreams a little deeper, get specific about deliverables and deficiencies. I’ll elaborate on this process and ensure you have read the fine print below.

I'll SEND A ESTIMATE

Based on your input I’ll create a detailed overview of your needs and how I can help you, including the cost and timeline. You will never pay more than we agree and my time tracking is very transparent and detailed.

SIGN THE DOTTED LINE

If you are happy with the estimate, you can sign on the dotted line. You’ll be invoiced 40-50% of the total project estimate as a deposit. Once that is paid you will get your first round of homework. Once that is complete I will schedule the design start date.

AGREED ON A VISION

The first design review is usually a mood board and style sheets which we will review together, Once we are on the same page about your preferences and parameters I’ll move into design.

DESIGN MAGIC

This is where all of the hard work of researching your market, and learning about your clients and unique business story, likes and feels all come together into a design concept presentation.

FINE TUNING + EXPORT

When you have selected a concept I will move into final design mode. Things will get fine tuned and print ready. I will manage print communications and press checks as needed to ensure you get the best results for your final products. 

LAUNCH

This is the most exciting part of the branding and design journey…time to share your new design with the world! All of your files and brand guide are provided in all the formats and variables you will need to keep you looking great in any medium! BLAST OFF!

  • All design /print files provided to the client are the clients property and are available for any use forever more.
  • DESIGN FARM reserves the right to share any designs created to promote it’s own services publicly and on social media and web platforms.
  • Clients should understand that missed deliverable deadlines on their part will directly correlate to pushing design schedule and finish deadlines back.
  • It is the clients responsibility to download and store their own assets. The google drive files are created for the use of DESIGN FARM and for ease of sharing, but should not be the only storage of your design deliverables. Files may be removed or deleted for maintenance and storage space annually.
  • Incidentals not included in any estimate are payable by the client and identified prior to use. These may include : Copy writing subcontracts, digital asset licensing (stock images), font licensing, custom photography, and/ or web themes.
  • DESIGN FARM does not make any subscription, print or product payments on behalf a client.
  • Each milestone must be completed prior to moving onto the next step. Design start dates are not secured until all deliverables by the client are fulfilled. File delivery is not completed until all invoices are in good standing.
  • Working and concept documents remain the property of DESIGN FARM. The deliverable (files) you pay for is print ready /social sharing ready files. You will receive variable sizes and output formats acceptable for print ready and Internet sharing. Native, working and editable files are not a deliverable, unless you have requested an editable template and that is identified in the scope of work.
  • A deposit/retainer paid towards a project is valid for a maximum of 6 months from payment to design start, unless otherwise agreed upon during kick off. Deposit is forfeited after that point should the client be out of communication. Deposits are non refundable in most situations.
  • DESIGN FARM reserves the right to dissolve a working relationship with the client with written notice if the client: Misses multiple deadlines, Does not communicate for extended periods of time, Demands deliverables outside the scope of the proposal, Is abusive or is not in good financial standing.
