Getting my hands dirty! Finally had some inspirati Getting my hands dirty! Finally had some inspiration in the lamp making department! We are exhibiting at an antique show in the lower maintain next month so it’s lampification time. Toaster lamps on deck.. they are sure gross and dirty when I start.
Exciting news! I finally got to see (and touch!) t Exciting news! I finally got to see (and touch!) these produce bags in real life!
This packaging design project began in 2024 with the fine farming folks at Shuswap Organics, who were gearing up for expanded carrot and beet sales across major grocery stores in the province. It was time for a fresh, high-volume run of fun and eye-catching bags to showcase their beautiful blends!
Shuswap Organics already had some great brand elements to build on, so we leaned into that playful energy—adding a knockout farm scene where row crops, beets, and carrots create peek-through windows to the vibrant produce inside. The Enderby Cliffs stand proudly in the background, and their signature farmer logo now sports a pair of brightly colored wellies to match the field-fresh vibe!
These bags were an absolute joy to design, and I can’t wait to spot them in the produce aisle this season. @shuswaporganics @emily.shuswaporganics thank you for your trust in DESIGNFARM for this packaging journey!

💡 Now, I need your input! These glossy bags were tricky to photograph… Would you rather see a digital mockup or should I just work on leveling up my lighting skills? Let me know! 👇
Over the weekend, I had some fun with an “in-hou Over the weekend, I had some fun with an “in-house” project—creating a brand suite for my husband’s enterprise. He had been using some old branding that sort of fit, but given the name and nature of the business, we decided it was time for a fresh start—something more timeless and rooted in heritage.

And so, Silver City Supply Co. was born. Inspired by his deep lineage of map-making, exploration, and trekking the Wild West, his Indigenous heritage, and the rich history of the place we now call home, this brand is steeped in stories of adventure and resilience.

I fell down a historic-image rabbit hole and uncovered some incredible photos from our area that helped shape the look and feel of this identity. What do you think—does it strike gold? ✨
🌱 Long overdue share alert! 🌱 After a summe 🌱 Long overdue share alert! 🌱

After a summer filled with challenges like wildfires, I’m finally sharing this exciting rebrand for @rootedtablecollective ! This project is “rooted” (pun intended) in two of my absolute favorite things: local food and community.

The Rooted Table Collective approached me last year looking for a fresh perspective on their existing brand. This refresh included:

Expanded their logo variations,
Refined their typeface,
Embraced the legacy beet (because, let’s be honest, it’s iconic), and
Expanded the color palette to reflect the vibrant, seasonal foods from their farm.
Swipe through to see the before and after! It’s always so rewarding to show how a thoughtful brand refresh can elevate a business.

A big thank you to The Rooted Table for trusting me to reimagine their identity. Their commitment to showcasing BC-made products and curating a hyper-local shopping experience is truly inspiring!

Let me know what you think of the transformation in the comments! 💬

Thrilled to share this bold and lively branding I just completed for Zero Fox Tree Crops—your go-to source for perennial abundance with a touch of swagger! 🦊🌿

This Kootenay-based, family-run permaculture plant source is next level. They offer an incredible selection of bare-root plants that I’ve personally planted dozens of—seriously, they’re the best for both stock and knowledge.

It was such a joy to create their new brand identity! We wanted something bold, fun, and just a little mischievous. The fox graphic hints at a seed just starting to sprout, while the hand-drawn currants, acorns, and gingko botanicals represent the diverse nuts, berries, and beauty you’ll find from these fine folks.

If you’re planning to grow your own perennial paradise this year, check out their amazing plants—available for pre-order now so you can get them in the ground this spring! 🌱🌸 @zerofoxtreecrops
I found this blue enamel oil heater @silvertongene I found this blue enamel oil heater @silvertongeneralstore and it was destined to be another one of my lampification projects! The light pattern is so moody! I’m swooning over it all! Nice to welcome new light during the dark of solstice.
